Canadian Tories are one step away from Fascists Yes, I'm aware that the title of this post is melodramatic in th extreme, but how is not inappropriate hyperbole in the face of the fact that they've just proposed a law allowing fingerprinting before charges are laid. They say it's okay because if you're not charged you can request that your fingerprints be destroyed. The proposed law also amends the requirements for obtaining a warrant. Presently, police officers are required to appear before a local judge or JOP to get a warrant unless under exigent circumstances. The new law proposes faxing a form to a JOP in a call center to get get a warrant. A call center? Seriously? It's fucking justice via Dell Tech Support. It's utterly fucking ridiculous - the whole reason for appearing in front of a local judge or JOP is their familiarity with local circumstances. Politicians and lawyers often speak of the slippery slope - this is the top end of a very steep and slippery slope if ever I've seen one. If this goes through, how far are we from (essentially) warrantless search and seizure, fingerprinting and mandatory blood tests? These pricks tell you this makes justice more efficient, and makes the people safer. What it makes you is a victim of a corrupt and stupid government. Stockwell Day sold his party to Stephen Harper for pennies on the dollar and now he wants to sell your rights. We need to boot these motherfuckers from office.

What the ever-loving fuck are our governments doing? The Canadian government gave $1.4 billion to Chrysler, a car company that's been teetering on the verge of bankruptcy ever since the US Federal government bailed those dumb fucks out back in, what, 1983? The US and Canadian government, together, own 10% of the utterly doomed company, with the remainder being held 35% by Fiat and 55% by the Auto Workers Union. There is something similar brewing with GM.

Now, aside from the grand comedy of the union owning the company (I can't fucking WAIT to see these cocksuckers negotiate their next contract with themselves), we're watching our governments pour tax money into obviously unsustainable private enterprise. Seriously, fuck off with the blaming the economy shit, if these motherfuckers could make cars that people wanted they wouldn't be in the position they're in.

Why are we, the taxpayers, putting money into this bullshit? I'm tired of hearing the government say "we can't put that many people out of work" - it's a fucking fabrication. Right now, instead of putting workers on social assistance, we're putting companies on social assistance. Worse, we're putting irresponsible morons with no sense of responsibility, who suffer no repercussions from their stupid decisions in charge of derelict companies that are on social assistance. Why the fuck doesn't anyone see the folly in this? We're going to put all those people on social assistance in a year or two anyway, when these half-wit fucktards finally bury these companies.

Jumped-Up Arrogant Little Fucker Somebody left a sports section sitting on the train and, like an idiot, I started reading it. I say "like an idiot" because I know going in that stories about over-privileged self-important athletes always make me angry, but I read it anyway. What's the first story in the paper? A story about Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who's in a spat with Manchester United. Why? He's got four years left on his contract but wants to go play for Real Madrid. Ordinarily I wouldn't give rat's ass about something like this, but something he said infuriated me. "I completely agree with the statements of the president, he is right."

Right about what? Right about FIFA president Sepp Blatter's statement that "...in football there is too much modern slavery, transferring players or buying players here and there, and putting them somewhere."

Modern what now? Slavery? Fuck you. Fuck both of you. This little prick gets £120,000 a week. That's $240,000 in US Dollars. This is slavery? If that's slavery then sign me the fuck up. I don't make that in a fucking year.

Calling that slavery is not just stupid, it's offensive. It belittles the trauma of real slavery and oppression. It belittles sweat shop workers. It belittles the plight of children trapped in the Asian sex trade. It belittles every Indian who endured second-class citizenship in their own country when India was under British rule. It belittles the South Africans who lived through Apartheid and, of course, it belittles what African slaves endured when they were hauled in the bellies of ships like so much cattle to America.

Stupid Bastards Fuck you, so very much, Ready At Dawn Studios, for making Okami harder to play on the Wii than it was on the PS2. How you take "paint with a joystick" and convert it to "paint with something that's just like a mouse" and have it function worse is truly unfathomable. So, fuck you for moving to a more natural control model and yet making the game worse as a result. Oh, and a hearty fuck you goes out to Capcom too, for stripping original developer Clover Studio's credits from the Wii version of the game. Classy move, guys.

Ah, i remember. I remember now why i don't read comments made by idiots on various forums and news sites. As if the words that are used aren't bad enough, i don't need to see animated characters fucking, i don't need to see icons of barely clad girls jumping up and down, i don't need to see whatever images have been spliced together to create your hilarious .gif from whatever porn you have on your computer, i don't need to be visually assaulted and immediately enraged.

Fuck you, you don't get it both ways. It seems that Barack Obama is criticizing Jimmy Carter because he's met with leaders of Hamas. This is yet another example of the truly astonishing level of hypocrisy in the USA. They go on and on about bringing democracy to the Middle East, but when a group ideologically opposed to them gets fairly and legitimately elected they don't like it. Guess what, fuckers, things don't always work out the way you want. You wanted an elected government in Palestine (anyone who says there isn't a Palestine can fuck themselves - recognized nation or not, they're a people and deserve to be treated as such) and now that you have it you have to treat with them as you'd treat with any other nation. I'd like to think that Obama is just covering his ass in the hopes of not alienating the Jewish vote, but I'd rather vote for somebody who'd stand behind a potentially unpopular principle than a whore.


Fuck. I guess that means I can't vote for anyone.

WTF Bumper FUCKER HATE
Beyond Hate people who sneak up on your ass and have no driver's courtesy.

All the lanes were filled and this jackass decides that his hurry is worth my disgruntlement...and in this case taking full advantage of the fact that I have a car filled with kids not my own.
I lightly tap my brakes to give the subtle hint of don't be a dick.
He creeps up on my ass even further....BALLS....lucky Balls at that.
Any other day I have a cup holder filled with pennies for just these occasions and if he wants to get snippy and pull me over- he gets all 6'2 200+ lbs of boiling red blooded American whoop ass.....but he wins this day.

And the worst is that I didn't have my phone or iPod with me to write down his license plate where I would most certainly report the fucker.


On a side note, the other day after work I walked out to my car to find a whole 6 inches graciously left me by my neighboring poorly parked fellow driver to get into my car. I left the following note on his car:

"Hey, Asshole!
I've reported this vehicle as a Hit & Run.
Next time you'll pay attention to your shitty parking and who else it may effect.

Your Mom"
